Sustainable Livelihood Development: Concentrates on ensuring of food security and thereby transforming into improving livelihood status of target beneficiaries. This is expressed by the development of agricultural production and productivity through the provision of improved agricultural inputs and practices. Running small scale irrigation is also another strategy to enhance vegetable production using irrigation pups from perennial rivers. This intervention shows visible impact changes in livelihood of target beneficiaries. The other strategy is organizing men and women into self-help groups (SHGs). They are usually engaged in petty trading, hair cutting and small restaurant etc. Both men and women are also provided with bulls, oxen for farming and fattening, and heifers, respectively.
